Day 1: Arrive at Cassetta. Our home away from home!  This beautifully restored farmhouse is tucked away in the rolling Chianti hills of Tuscany.
There, we will rest and recharge after our flights.  We will have a light lunch and champagne to celebrate our arrival.  
Afterwards, a light yoga session and/or massage!  Massages are available by appointment only and must be made a minimum one month in advance.
Dinner in the evening.

Monday, October 7, 2024
Day 2: After breakfast, we will head to The Antinori Winery, one of the most famous wineries in the area.  
From there, we will go to the Badia A Passignano and have lunch there with a view over the vineyard and back drop of the 9^th Century Abbey.
Afterwards, we will go on a walking tour of Florence then have dinner in Florence.

Tuesday, October 8, 2024
Day 3: Breakfast then we head out to go truffle hunting!!!  We will then head to o a private estate and search for truffles with Mattia and his wonderful dogs. Afterwards, we will go to a restaurant in the countryside and have a delicious meal based on the truffles that we found!
When we arrive back at the Cassetta, we will have the option of booking massage appointments again as well as a light yoga session.
For Dinner: Pizza Under the Stars! This is everyone’s favorite night. Xenia brings in a professional pizza chef and we all enjoy a class of wine and learn how to make pizza with the wood burning oven!

Day 4: Country breakfast
Departure for Alterreno, before check in at Villa Cosmiano.  The Villa Cosmiano is an exquisite winery that was brought back from the ashes by two friends of mine, Jean Claude and Sean.  They have done a truly amazing job restoring not only the winery, and the vineyard, but also the grounds.  This will be our home away from home for a few days! 
Arrival at Alterreno Equestrian Facility:
Meet and greet, orientation, get to know your horses, play from the ground, safe ride preps. 
Lunch at Alterreno with local wines
Relaxing Yoga in the paddocks with horses 
Afterwards, we will go on a lovely, relaxing hack around the Tuscan Countryside.
Go back to Villa Cosmiana to change
Dinner in Osteria Bianca (Capannoli)

Day 5:  Arrival at Alterreno
Lecture on Classical Riding
Prepare horses
Head to the indoor for a brief lesson covering some of the topics from the lecture, then off for a hack
Lunch at Alterreno
Relaxing Yoga in the paddocks with horses 
Transfer to VILLA COSMIANA
Wine tasting and dinner at the Villa Cosmonia

Day 6: Arrival at Alterreno
